Science fiction auto time is no longer far away

October 13, 2010, German scientists in the latest release "of unmanned vehicles" announcement predicted that the era of unmanned vehicles are numbered. And unmanned technologies that help reduce traffic accidents and help improve the environment.
Scientists seem to see a bunch of golden future of this technology, Free University of Berlin (Berlin's Free University) professor (Raul Rojas) pointed out that, for safety considerations, future laws may prohibit people from driving themselves, pointing out that "Today, the car will be wagon yesterday."
In Luojia Si under the leadership of the Free University of Berlin, also known as R & D out of a "Made in Germany (MIG Made In Germany)" driverless car, the car converted by the Volkswagen Passat, from the appearance only in the Passat's roof to see the installation of a camera.
But researchers at MIG, said even if these vehicles are in the underground tunnel through cameras, laser scanners, thermal sensors and satellite navigation to "recognize" other vehicles and pedestrians, and traffic lights can be perceived.
Vehicles use sensors to identify pedestrians and other vehicles can effectively enhance the future of road safety, according to the World Health Organization data show that 100 million people worldwide every year, killed in traffic accidents, while more than 500 million people were injured in a car accident, their Supporters say the unmanned ruled out due to fatigue driving and other factors, which could break the current plight of road traffic safety.
